Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Cheddar Inbox, a service operated by Cheddar Inbox, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By connecting your email account and using the Cheddar Inbox service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Cheddar Inbox is an email engagement and deliverability optimization platform. Users connect their Gmail or Outlook accounts to maintain and optimize their inbox deliverability. In exchange, users earn cryptocurrency (USDC) for each optimization activity performed through their connected account.

Optimization activities are fully automated. After connecting your account, you do not need to take any action — the system handles all engagement, replying, labeling, and archiving automatically.

2. Authorization

By connecting your Gmail account through our Google OAuth flow, you explicitly authorize Cheddar Inbox to:

Facilitate automated inbox engagement with other verified participants in the email quality network
Reply to engagement emails received in your inbox
Create and manage a hidden Gmail label called "Cheddar Inbox"
Mark engagement messages as read and important
Archive and organize engagement threads to your Cheddar Inbox label
Reclassify incorrectly filtered messages from spam to inbox when applicable

This authorization is granted during the standard Google OAuth consent flow. You may revoke it at any time by disconnecting your inbox from the Cheddar Inbox dashboard.

3. Automated and Passive Operation

All optimization activity performed through your account is automated. The Cheddar Inbox system acts on your behalf without requiring per-action approval. By connecting your account, you consent to this ongoing automated operation for the duration your account remains connected. You are not required to monitor, review, or approve individual optimization activities.

4. Earnings

Earnings are tracked in USDC equivalent and displayed on your Cheddar Inbox dashboard. Key terms:

Earning rates are determined by your account's tier (Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum), which is based on your inbox quality score.
Payouts are processed manually and are subject to minimum thresholds and administrative review. We reserve the right to hold payouts pending fraud review.
Algorithm adjustments — we may adjust scoring algorithms, tier structures, tier thresholds, and per-action earning rates at any time without prior notice.
No guaranteed earnings — Cheddar Inbox makes no warranty or guarantee regarding the amount you will earn. Earnings depend on network conditions, account quality, and factors outside our control.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Cheddar Inbox for any of the following:

Sending spam, phishing emails, or any unsolicited commercial messages
Fraud, deception, or any illegal activity
Creating fake accounts or using compromised, stolen, or unauthorized credentials
Manipulating your inbox quality score through artificial means
Attempting to circumvent rate limits, earning caps, or security controls
Using the service in violation of Google's Terms of Service or Gmail's acceptable use policies
Any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your Cheddar Inbox account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or posed a risk to the network or other users. Accrued but unpaid earnings may be forfeited upon termination for Terms violations.

7. Disconnecting Your Account

You may disconnect your Gmail account from Cheddar Inbox at any time through the dashboard. Disconnecting immediately revokes all Gmail access granted to Cheddar Inbox and stops all optimization activity. Earnings accrued up to the point of disconnection will be credited to your account balance.

8. Email Deliverability and Google Account

Cheddar Inbox is not responsible for any impact on your email deliverability, Gmail account standing, or Google account status resulting from your participation in the email quality network. Email deliverability is influenced by many factors outside our control, and we make no warranty that using Cheddar Inbox will improve or maintain your deliverability. Participation is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHEDDARINBOX, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL USDC EARNINGS CREDITED TO YOUR ACCOUNT IN THE 90 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cheddar Inbox, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including Google's Terms of Service; or (d) any unauthorized use of your connected account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration shall take place in Florida. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email. Continued use of Cheddar Inbox after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the changes.
